1981 – Radlett Players Achieve Notoriety

Wild, a Shenley farmer, was first team skipper and Keith Jenkin and Richard Doughty received awards from the Borehamwood Post, presented by England player Mike Gatting.

Jenkin, a class all-rounder for Radlett over two decades hit the largest number of half-centuries in the district, and leg-spinner Doughty, chief wicket-taker in the seconds for the last four seasons, took the biggest number of five wickets or more.
